Another one! What a fun theme for a birthday party! (Same twins different party)

For some reason when I moved the pictures into blogger they turned orange.... the bottom picture is a little better but the "sand really wasn't as orange as it looks in the pictures.

Super Mario Brothers Birthday Cake

My husband is a lucky guy. He decided he wanted a Mario cake for his birthday this year.... and this is what he got. Happy Birthday Handsome :)

Deutschland Birthday Cake

When I mentioned I would be making a German cake everyone thought I was talking about the German Chocolate cake with the coconut on top... but nope. This was a German/Deutschland themed cake for my Father in law's 60th birthday. Happy Birthday Guenther!

 

Sandcastle Cake

This sandcastle cake was a first birthday cake for a super cute set of twins. It was a chocolate cake with buttercream frosting.

Bridal Shower Cake Pops

The Wedding Cake cake pops were my favorite. I wish I would have made more of them.

Anniversary Cake

This cake was for a 5 year anniversary celebration. My friend that ordered the cake said she had been craving my cake and she was glad to have an excuse to order one.... seriously made my day. That was the best compliment! 

This was a chocolate cake with white ganache filling and covered in dark chocolate ganache and fondant.

Happy 60th Birthday DAD!!!

I have an AWESOME Dad. I made this two tier cherry/chocolate/cherry dark chocolate filling and ganache covered cake for his 60th birthday. I tried to cover it with things he loves. Golf, fly fishing, mountain biking and racquetball... he also loves family, church, friends among many other things but I couldn't fit everything on the cake. 

I'm so glad I got to make him this cake! Even if my mom made him a sour cream chocolate cake too. haha 

 

My first time making a bike out of gumpaste... it turned out cute but didn't travel so well.... I definitely have a few different things I would do next time.

 

Olaf Cake

I keep thinking the Frozen craze is is going to die down but I'm so glad it hasn't because that meant I got to make this cake of our favorite snowman!

This super cute little Olaf was made out of vanilla butter cake with white chocolate ganache and covered in fondant with fondant and gumpaste accents. He turned out so cute and from what I hear the birthday girl loved him too!

Textured Buttercream Wedding Cake

This beautiful wedding cake was a vanilla butter cake with ganache filling and ganache on the outside of the cake and then everything was covered in vanilla buttercream. Mmmm delicious.

Nautical Cupcakes

After a crazy week it was nice to ease back into business with these super cute cupcakes! These chocolate cupcakes with buttercream frosting and modeling chocolate/fondant/gumpaste (but mostly modeling chocolate) were for a little boys first birthday party. Aren't they so cute?! The were perfect for a 3rd of July Birthday.
