Asea Birthday Cake

You'll have to ignore the shadows on the cake. Early morning on a stormy day isn't the best time to take pictures :) This was a chocolate cake with dark and white chocolate ganache. The design is simple but that's what they wanted.... so that's what they got haha.

Lego Spaceman Cake

What little boy doesn't love Lego's? I hear the Birthday boy loved his cake... and that's all that really matters right? I'm so glad I was able to make this special cake for his special day :)

Oh my goodness this cake was so stressful to make haha. I was excited to make it using a new way (for me) to support the cake and thankfully a neighbor helped me cut out the wood and my sweet husband cut the threaded rod for me. I think if I were to do this cake again there are a few things I would change.... but I don't see myself making this cake again anytime soon :)

Before I added his arms.... I think I would do his arms a different way next time too.

 

Naked Wedding Cake

This beautiful and delicious chocolate cake was for a beautiful wedding at This Is The Place Heritage Park in Salt Lake City.

 

 I almost feel like they need to come up with a better name for this style of cake. haha
