Ruffle Ombre Cake

This was my first ruffle ombre cake. It was a vanilla cake with cream cheese filling and butter cream frosting, covered in marshmallow fondant and the ruffles are also made out of marshmallow fondant. This cake was definitely an adventure to make!

Superhero Cake

I felt bad making my photographer drive all the way to my house just to take a couple pictures.... so these are my sad attempts as taking pictures. I definitely missed her this weekend.

This was a three tier cake for a super hero birthday party. The bottom tier was strawberry, middle was vanilla and the top tier was chocolate and they all had cream-cheese filling and butter cream frosting. This cake used both marshmallow fondant and Satin Ice fondant.... I don't recommend eating the Satin Ice fondant and I forgot to mention that when I dropped off the cake oops.

CTR Baptism Cake

This cake was a baptism cake for Emry. The Bottom Tier was Lemon and the top was Chocolate. Both layers were covered in Cream Cheese Frosting and marshmallow fondant. The CTR Shield was made out of modeling chocolate.

Images were taken by Amber with Broken Images Photography. She is awesome.

Rapunzel Cake

This weekend I made a Rapunzel Birthday cake.  She was a vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream frosting and marshmallow fondant. I think she turned out super cute. Gavin cried when I delivered the cake. He was also upset that I wouldn't let him play with Rapunzel even though he said he would be super careful with her.

This cake was for a little girls second birthday.  It was so fun dropping the cake off and she knew exactly who she was when she saw the cake.

Baby Rattle Cake Pops

I had a good friend contact me on Monday asking if there was any possible way I could make some little bite sized treats for a baby shower she was throwing on Wednesday. My mom suggested cake pops. I've made cake pops before but it's been a few years. The last time I made cake pops was for Brooklyn's birthday when I was pregnant and I got super sick making them. Anyway I decided I was up for the challenge again.

It took a minute to get back in the groove for cake pops but the end result was pretty cute. The cake pops were made to look like baby rattles. I used straws instead of regular sticks and used modeling chocolate for the bottom of the rattle. I would also like to point out that I hand placed all of the sprinkles... if I do these again I'm going to have to figure out a better method for placing the sprinkles. I heard back from my friend and someone else who attended the baby shower and it sounds like everyone liked them... I love hearing when people enjoy my work!
