Dino Smash Cake

This was a vanilla cake with traditional vanilla buttercream for a sweet little boys first birthday. The party colors were the primary colors and so I decided to make the cake blue instead of putting the (chocolate) dinosaur in what looked like dirt to make it a little more colorful and fun. I hope he enjoyed his cake!

Under The Sea Birthday Cake

Can I just say making a cakes for a photographer is great. Her pictures always turn out so much better than my own. Thank you again Amber for the awesome pictures. If you need a photographer for anything you should check out Broken Images.

This cake was an 8in carrot cake with cream cheese filling and covered in white chocolate ganache decorated in fondant and gumpaste.

I loved that while I was baking the cake Chris said it smelled so good and he doesn't even usually like carrot cake (I bet he'd like my carrot cake).

Disney Junior Birthday Cake

My friend who lives in St George came up this weekend for a surprise birthday party for her dad and decided to have a little party for her son at the same time. Lucky for me that meant I got to make his birthday cake! Jack loves Disney Junior and his favorite is Henry Hugglemonster. I had so much fun making this cake and the little characters. (The Jake and the Neverland pirates figurines on the top were obviously not made by me haha.)

Frozen Cupcakes

Frozen cupcakes yay! These cupcakes are BLUE Velvet with Cream Cheese Frosting. Can you say Yum? I don't know if the Frozen craze will ever end. I know my kids still love it!
(Thank you Karissa for the picture! My pregnant brain forgot to take a picture before I sent them on their way.)

Sister Missionary Cake

My Sister in Law Andrea returned from serving her mission last month. I made this cute cake for her homecoming. I only cheated a little and the name tag isn't edible shhhh don't tell anyone ;)

Rainbow Dash Birthday Cake

My sweet neighbors little girl had a Rainbow Dash birthday party a while back and this is their cake.
(On a side note the picture quality is not so great and the lighting in my kitchen on this day did weird things to the coloring in the pictures :( boo )

Broncos Grooms Cake

My cousins husband is a big Broncos fan and she wanted to surprise him with a Broncos themed grooms cake. The cake turned out super cute and I heard the flavor combination was their favorite of the two cakes. It was a vanilla cake with strawberry filling and um... I think it was dark chocolate ganache (I could be wrong it might have been white chocolate ganache).
